Frontier is the fourth largest provider of DSL in the United States. It is available in 28 different states throughout the country. Originally founded as a telephone company in 1935, Frontier Communications now offers various home services including Internet, phone, security service, and television.
The FCC's report rated the company's DSL service as only delivering 85% of the advertised download speeds. However after a merger with Verizon, Frontier is able to provide 1 Gbps fiber Internet to its customers.
