The state of New Mexico currently holds the 43rd position in the list of most connected states in the country. However, 79.2 percent of residents in the state have access to a wired broadband service that guarantees a minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps.
In addition to that, roughly 92.8 percent of New Mexicans also have access to a wireline service whereas the percentage of New Mexico residents who can subscribe to a fiber optic service is just 7.1 percent. On the other hand, the available to DSL service is approximately 90.4 percent in the state of New Mexico.
